This traditional carved 1 day Cuckoo Clock by August Schwer is a certified German Black Forest cuckoo clock produced in Schwarzwald, commonly known as The Black Forest. Built by craftsmen well known for their carving skills, this clock is great example of high quality traditional Black Forest cuckoo clock. The cuckoo calls the time each hour and then once at half past.

While this is a chalet style cuckoo clock it features detailed hand carved elements creating a lovely cabin scene situated amongst the trees of the forest.  The roof is layered with hand split shingles just as many traditional houses in the Black Forest.

Manual night-time shut-off is enabled by lifting and pulling a lever. Hand carved and built by skilled craftsmen this clock is 21cm from top to bottom. This measurement does not include the height of the weights or pendulum. For full specifications please scroll down the page and click to expand.
