This clever skeleton style 1 day Cuckoo Clock by Anton Schneider is a certified German Black Forest cuckoo clock produced in Schwarzwald, commonly known as The Black Forest. Built to our requests at a recent factory visit in Schonach, this clock is great example of high quality traditional Black Forest cuckoo clock with a twist. It operates just the same as other mechanical cuckoo clocks - the cuckoo calls the time each hour and then once at half past. Also featuring a 2 melody Swiss Reuge musical movement, the hand painted figures dance to the music in traditional costume.

What is so unique about this clock then? Clever design and acrylic welding allow you to have complete visiblity into the wonder of the mechanical cuckoo clock workings. Watch the bellows open and close as they push air through the whistles to make the cuckoo sound, followed by the dancers turning and spinning around the balcony as the gentle music plays. Follow the chains through the movement as the weights provide power to make the clock function or watch the pins on the music box barrel pluck the notes of the music box to deliver the beatiful melodies. You will have hours of fun watching this clock in action.

Also note that this is a totally unique clock. While some of these clocks have been built in the past, this is the very last case and was finished to our specification. The wooden chapter ring (dial), hand painted dancers, wooden contrasting cuckoo door and decorative whistles are all as requested by Clock Shop. So there is only 1 clock available!
