COVID-19 Updates

Clock Shop continues to operate as normal and thankfully at this stage most of our manufacturers in Germany continue to operate also. 

In any case, we hold stock here in our Australian warehouse and will continue to deliver our products to you. However, if you find a product is not in stock and you would still like to purchase the item, at this stage we can still order direct from the manufacturer and deliver to your door.

We will continue to work closely with our suppliers and will keep this page updated during this time to keep our customers informed about any changes as they arise.

Important update to Australia Post services:

At Australia Post, we’re working hard to deliver for our customers in these difficult times. We are however, experiencing significant delivery delays in our network due to limited flights, social distancing requirements and a substantial increase in parcel volumes as more people shop online.

These delays mean we are temporarily suspending the Express Post guarantee of next day delivery as we are unable to commit to this timeframe. Express Post is still available but parcels may not be delivered next business day every time.

We know you’re keener than ever to find out when you’ll receive your deliveries. You can track your delivery through parcel tracking, the chatbot and the MyPost App. We ask for your patience with our contact centre colleagues based here in Australia who are doing their best to keep up with the additional demand.

We have updated our trading hours in store to ensure that we can still provide the very best service to you. We are now closed on Sunday and we apologise if the reduced hours cause any inconvenience.

We are assisting customers with shipping to enable as many as possible to stay in isolation. This includes repairs, parts or any products that you may have intended to collect, so please don't hesitate to call us if you would like to discuss how we can assist you.

27th March 2020

All of our shipping carriers are still providing excellent service and efficient delivery to most areas. We understand that there may be some parcels delayed during this difficult time and we ask for your patience to assist us during all consignment investigations. Please note: you will not be asked for a signature on delivery and the driver will sign on your behalf. If you are not home or present to receive your parcel it may be left if deemed safe to do so.

Our clockmaker, Bruce Davis, is still working in his workshop on site and we are open for you to collect or drop off your repairs. 

 

25th March 2020

We have implemented steps to ensure the safety of our customers and staff. Staff have been retrained in hygiene & proximity rules have been put in place. Our store in Montville will be operating at slightly reduced opening hours to also carry out stringent cleaning each day after trading.

Please be reminded that we are enforcing strict social distancing measures in store and should the patrons exceed the recommedation of 1 per 4 meters sqaure, you will be asked to wait until patrons leave.

We are continuing to follow government advice and our store remains open to serve you unless otherwise advised.
 
Providing a safe environment for our customers and the community we operate in will always be our number one priority. We have been taking extra steps to keep our customers and team safe, in line with government directives. Additional precautions include restricting business hours to carry out stringent cleaning and implementing social distancing measures in store. 
 
Our team is doing their best to help all customers with online and in store sales while still providing our awesome service so please show respect for them and your fellow customers during this difficult time. We really appreciate your patience.
