This colourful chalet style 1 day Cuckoo Clock by Engstler is a certified German Black Forest cuckoo clock produced in Schwarzwald, commonly known as The Black Forest. Built by craftsmen well known for their carving skills, this clock is great example of high quality traditional Black Forest cuckoo clock. The cuckoo calls the time each hour and then once at half past. 

Colourful hand painted window shutters and trees compliment the shingled roof and carved base on this wood chopper clock. The wood chopper lifts his arm and chops the wood as the cuckoo calls.

Manual night-time shut-off is enabled by lifting and pulling the lever on the side of the case. Hand carved and built by skilled craftsmen this clock is 27cm from top to bottom.
