In February of 2018, Clock Shop owner Phil Hoffman designed and commissioned master carver Gerhard Schmieder to make 5 special edition hunting cuckoo clocks. Phil wanted a truly unique hunting scene with different animals to the traditional stag's head, hare and pheasant. This clock instead features the trophy boar's head, hanging pig and hanging deer.

The finished clocks are spectacular. The journey from the planning that started in Gerhard's workshop in the Black Forest right through to receiving the finished clocks is wonderful to watch. Thank you Gerhard for the photos that tell the story of your remarkable hand craft, and for these truly impressive clocks!
