This timepiece features a water resistance rating of 5 ATM, meaning it is built to withstand pressures equivalent to 50 metres (in a controlled laboratory environment). This rating refers to the watch remaining stationary at that depth. A 5 ATM watch is ideal for light splashes such as rain, and casual water submersion such as swimming for brief periods of time. It is not suitable for water sports or diving. We also recommend avoiding hot showers or saunas with any watch, as the heat can compromise the water-resistant seal.
