This high quality traditional wall clock was designed by world renowed clock makers HERMLE from Germany, where the company was established in 1922.

Measuring 68cm in height, this exquisite wall clock features an elegant cream coloured round dial with neat black roman numerals and neat black hands that instantly draws the eye. Rounding out the body of this fascinating clock is a traditional stained walnut timber case that compliments the overall clock design, that features columns on either side of the dial. The clock features a neat polished brass bob pendulum, driven by a high quality Chiming movement. Perhaps the mosty fascinating aspect of this beautiful clock is the decorative glass door inlay, and polished brass highlights such as a ring around the dial.

This chiming clock has two winding holes evident in the dial, each linked to a different spring- one drives the timekeeping pendulum, the second spring is linked to the strike that strikes the time on the hour once the chime is completed. Chiming clocks such as this one typically chime 1/2 hours strike on coil gong, however in most clocks they can also be silenced manually should that be preferred. This exquisite clock also features a high quality 14 day running mechanism, meaning the clock only needs to be wound every 14 days.
