About The Blue Poison Dart Frog

The blue poison dart frog is considered amongst the Earth's most toxic/poisonous species. They are found only in a few isolated areas of rainforest in Northern Brazil and Suriname, and live under rocks and moss near streams. Their toxin is capable of paralyzing or killing predators, containing an average of 200 micrograms of poison each. It grows to around 6cm in length and weighs a maximum of 10 grams.
