About The Great White Shark

The great white shark is the largest deep-sea predatory fish on the planet. It can reach a length of 9 metres and weigh up to 2000 kilograms. They are amongst the fastest fish in the oceans, swimming at a speed of 32 kilometres per hour. Because of this speed, they can travel more than 65 kilometres per day, and can live to over 40 years in age. The teeth of a great white shark act like a revolver as they consist of several rows. When one of its sharp, triangular teeth breaks out of the front row, it is quickly replaced by another from the row behind it. New replacement teeth are constantly growing.
