The Hanoverian breed of horse is a particularly noble sport horse, suitable for dressage and show jumping. In Germany, Hanoverians have been successfully bred and advanced according to the highest standard since 1735. Hanoverians are amongst the oldest warm-blooded horses and are excellent tournament horses, and have a very gentle kind character.
