About The Noriker Breed
The Noriker Horse, otherwise known as Noric horse is one of the oldest mountain draft horses in Europe, originating in the foothills of the highest Austrian mountains. In the past, Noriker Horses were mainly used as working and draught horses for moving heavy items. Today, their humble and well-balanced nature makes the beautiful cold-blooded horses popular recreational horses. They are very agile and surefooted, even on rocky terrain.
