18 Note Musical Movement Pull String Winder

Add an interactive element to your music box project with this Pull String Winder, designed to replace the traditional winding key for standard 18-note musical movements. Consisting of a pulley and shaft that screws on your musical movement’s winding shaft, the assembly includes a 2.86cm diameter plastic pulley and a 0.79cm long brass winding shaft, which screws directly onto the movement's winding shaft.

Once installed, simply wrap the included 35cm pull cord clockwise around the pulley. Pulling down on the cord winds the movement—creating a delightful visual as the cord rewinds during playback. You can also attach a small figurine or decorative object to the end of the cord, which will gently rise as the music plays, adding a playful touch to your musical movement.
