Produced by Graupner in the heart of the Erzgebirge region (Ore Mountains) of Germany, this high quality wooden music box is authentic and original, representing a piece of Erzgebirge folk art that originated in, and has existed in the same region for over 200 years.

The music boxes are fitted with sycamore maple, with an oiled pine case, and finished with brilliant high quality colours that guarantee lasting brilliance and luminosity. The colours used are certified according to the strict DIN EN71 guidelines for toys, and are naturally non-toxic and resistant to saliva.

The high-quality music box consists of over 70 tiny wooden parts, with the two figurines (Santa Claus and Angel) being hand-painted. It is equipped with a mechanical and durable SANKYO mechanism, which is wound up with a small key on the underside of the music box to play the melody.
