Whilst hunting for fish and shellfish, seals can dive 200m deep and can hold their breath for up to 30 minutes. Seals are the acrobats of the sea, but they are very clumsy on land. A seal can swim through the water at a speed of 35 kilometers per hour, whilst over land it is lucky to travel over 2 kilometers per hour.
