Thermometer Movement

Please read the full description below carefully to ensure this thermometer movement is the right fit for your project before making a purchase. This thermometer movement is a specialised mechanism designed for DIY thermometer projects and replacements, which can be used with thermometer dials crafted from ceramics, wood, etc. It comes with a free black indicator hand, made from durable aluminum with a satin finish, measuring 17cm in length (and 12.70cm from tip to shaft hole). This indicator hand can be easily trimmed with scissors should it be necessary.

The movement has a total shaft length of 20mm and is compatible with thermometer dials that have a dial thickness of 0-12mm. The movement comes with temperature templates for both Farenheit and Celsius scales, and is compact in size, measuring only 5cm (diameter) x 8cm (height). It is centre shaft mounted.

It can be used indoors or outdoors, with an overall temperature range from -5 to 49 degrees Celsius that requires easy calibrating and setting.

Please note: This thermometer movement does not tell the time. It also does not require a battery.
